Steins;Gate, Toradora and more!

No spoilers here!

At my time of writing this, Kaguya Sama episode nine has just aired on Crunchyroll and I could not be happier. Week after week, Kaguya Sama Love is War brings both tension and joy through its romance and comedy. This is a show that combines student politics with anime antics, a healthy mindset towards sexuality and an amazing opening sequence that will have you jammin’ in no time.

The Opening Sequence

While I don’t think Kaguya’s opening is better than either of Mob Psycho 100’s sequences, I do think it’s in the same tier. A lot of effort has clearly gone into making this show look amazing; it’s jazzy, bombastic and full of colour, who wouldn’t be curious?

On top of enjoying the show, once you’re up to speed with Kaguya Sama Love is War you will be able to understand all the incredible conversations going on behind it:

“Kaguya-Sama is by far one of the most entertaining Slice-of-Life Comedies that I that I have seen in a while.” …at

“What was wrong with episode 7?” …at

But best of all is that you have the chance to understand (or attempt to understand) this great meme:

Kaguya Shinomiya

Kaguya Shinomiya is prideful and a tad spoiled, but she’s also hopelessly in love with the student president. Determined to best him in every endeavour (including the intricacies of love and romance), Kaguya finds herself pushed to even greater heights.

Miyuki Shirogane

Miyuki Shirogane is a hard-working studious boy who can’t believe that he is in love with the prideful Kaguya Shinomiya. He’s not going to confess first, but how can he hope to surpass Kaguya’s pride?

Chika Fujiwara

Chika is an agent of chaos out to disrupt any and all of Miyuki and Kaguya’s painstakingly made plans, on the other hand, she is also the most knowledgeable about love and relationships. How can Miyuki and Kaguya evade her disruptions while learning as much as possible from this love guru?!

Hors D’oeuvres

If you aren’t hungry for the main event yet, perhaps these pictures will fire up your ovens!
